The Store Manager is responsible for the functions of all departments of the store and for brand building exercises relating to the store. The Store Manager ensures that the store achieves and surpasses its sales and financial forecasts. This position is of great responsibility as the Store Manager is also entrusted with all the financial activities and budget allocation processes of the store. The key focuses are to motivate the team members, delight the customers and to work to embed operational routines and standards and to achieve high standards of customer service. Upholding the image and building the reputation of the store is the key responsibility of the Store Manager. The Store Manager is a dynamic natural leader and a true ambassador that is committed to the Tod’s brand and has a desire and a passion to deliver the best results possible through their team.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Complies with Tod’s policies and procedures.
  • Oversees the functions of all departments of the store.
  • Strategizes sales and marketing plans to drive revenue into the store.
  • Responsible for delivering exceptional levels of service, managing performance, motivating and developing people and be a true ambassador.
  • Ensures that the store looks attractive by deciding the arrangement of merchandise in the store with the Visual Department.
  • Responsible for providing training and implementing training procedures.
  • Manages training follow up and feedback procedures.
  • Communicates the daily sales targets during shop opening brief.
  • Recruits and trains employees of the store.
  • Replenishes stock. Ensures that the merchandise is replenished regularly and the store is never out of stock.
  • Evaluates sale reports and customer feedback and forwards to head office.
  • Plans new training implementing procedures across all departments.
  • Controls the store inventory and ensures the maintenance of the standards of goods.
  • Thinks of new initiatives to enhance the growth of the business.
  • Sets SMART sales targets for the sales teams and periodically reviews the same.
  • Oversees the billing and payment processes.
  • Understands how individual productivity impacts the store.
  • Uses good judgment within the boundaries of policy.
  • Supervises the stocking of goods.
  • Supervises all Customer Service activities.
  • Supervises the functioning of the staff.
  • Uses different strategies to handle customer problems and complaints.
  • Ensures that the store policies are upheld.
