The Merchandising Planner will play a pivotal role in developing and executing Brand’s merchandise strategies to drive sales. The Merchandising Planner will be responsible for analyzing market trends and sales data to drive product assortment and inventory management decisions, ensuring optimal inventory levels and product availability. In this position a meticulous approach to planning, forecasting and cross functional team collaboration are essential.
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Brand Merchandising Planner to join our team. Reporting to the Merchandising Director, the figure will oversee the main following activities:
- Own and operate Merchandising Financial Plan system;
- Participate actively to recurrent and ad hoc meetings;
- Work closely with the different internal teams and global functions (finance, marketing, buying, merchandising, e-commerce etc) to:
- Determine store level budgets and Seasonal OTB strategy prior to the seasonal buying campaign;
- Provide Ad-hoc stock projections analysis for the in-season stores allocations;
- Identify and recommend opportunities for growth and improvement in sales performance and merchandise assortments based on customer feedback and competitive analysis through stock rebalancing/transfers, reorders and markdown strategy on a weekly / monthly and seasonal basis;
- Provide Ad-hoc sales analysis on a weekly/monthly/annual basis;
4. Support the team defining, coordinating and implementing special projects and omnichannel initiatives.
